Aspen Pullover - Small

The Aspen Pullover. Designed by me and named after the fall quaken aspen trees of the mountainous west. This simple, classic knit design is one that I wear on a daily basis.
 
This sweater is hand knit with bulky merino wool, which means that it is buttery soft and insulating. The yarn is sourced from South America and hand dyed. 
 
The color of this sweater is a beautiful mix of tans, creams and grays. The hand dyed element brings out a unique color texture within each stitch.
 
I knit this sweater while on a camp trip earlier this summer in Idaho with my family. This sweater pattern is my latest one that I have published for other knitters to make because it is such a practical one to wear. I love wearing mine eveywhere from a hike to date night over a dress once the temperatures drop. 
 
This sweater is sized as a small, but the beauty of hand knit items is the stitches will settle to whatever size you need it to be. The fit is cropped with roomy, wide sleeves. I often wear my sweaters over jackets or coats, so once again, this sweater will stretch over time to however you want to wear it - and it WILL last a long time.
